Today at 3:08PM, Ward Six Fire Dept was called to respond to a structure fire on Bud Bennett Road off of Edgerly Road.
Upon arrival of the first engine, the barn was fully involved in flames. A tractor, pickup truck and lawn mower located inside the barn were also fully involved in flames.
A total of 28 Firefighters from Ward Six, DeQuincy and Houston River Fire Depts responded and brought the fire under control within 15 minutes after arriving.
There were no injuries to the property owner or to any Firefighters on scene.
