At 10:34am, Ward 6 Engine 7, Service 8, Rescue 2 and FP 1 responded to a report of a motorcycle crash in the 400 blk of Royer Loop.
Upon arrival of Engine 7 and FP 1 and Acadian Ambulance it was determined the driver of the motorcycle was deceased. Service 8 and Engine 7 were utilized to close the road to all through traffic.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriffs Office arrived and is investigating the crash.
