Ward Six Fire Dept was called at 12:41PM today to respond to a call involving trash being burned. Upon our arrival, we found a pile of items burning which included tires and electrical wiring. We extinguished the fire. Please remember that burning of any items other than natural items such as limbs or leaves are prohibited, per the parish ordinance.
