Thank You Dispatchers

April 11, 2022

911 Dispatchers: The most important people you will never see.
This week is “National Public Safety Telecommunications Week."
Approved by Congress in 1991, the second full week of April is dedicated to the men and women who serve as public safety telecommunicators, otherwise known as 911 dispatchers.
No matter the time of day or night, on weekends and holidays, in every type of weather imaginable, these trained and skilled professionals are called on to respond to the emergency calls of our community.
They dispatch the emergency professionals and equipment needed and render life-saving assistance to citizens until help arrives.
Please join us this week as we celebrate and honor the dedication and professionalism of our 911 dispatchers and thank them for their hard work.
