It has been a busy couple of days.

On Sunday, June 12th at 2:55pm, we were called to respond to a structure fire on Rip Henagan Road. Upon arrival, the homeowner had used a garden hose and had the fire extinguished. The fire was contained to a metal shop building. All further response was cancelled.

At 5:20pm, we responded to a reported grass fire on Bankens Road. Upon arrival, approximately 30 large round bales of hay were burning. After spending almost 3 hours on scene, we were able to completely extinguish the hay bales.

Today at 1:57pm, we were called to respond to Starks, LA to assist Ward 5 Fire Dept with a large grass fire on Highway 109 south of Starks. We responded with our brush unit and 3 personnel.
