Ward 6 Engine 5 and Service with 3 firefighters responded at 11:45 am as mutual aid to assist DeQuincy Volunteer Fire Department with a fire in the 1700 blk of West 4th st. The fire was contained to the trailer of an 18 wheeler and involved pelletized plastic products. The fire was extinguished and there were no injuries to firefighters.
