Please refrain from any outdoor burning until we get significant rain. We are experiencing dry and windy conditions, both of which contribute to fire spreading quickly. Remember, if your fire spreads to another person's property, you are responsible for any damage that fire may cause.

We still have free smoke alarms available through the Operation Save-A-Life program. Please call us at 337-786-2775 or email us at ward6fd@aol.com if you need smoke alarms. These smoke alarms are available for everyone in our district who may need them installed your home.
