At 2:50PM today, we were called to respond to a grass fire on Riley Frazier Road in the Hargroves area Three firefighters, along with Service 6, Unit 903 and our brush UTV responded to the call. DeQuincy Fire also responded to assist with extinguishment.

Immediately after being paged to the above fire, we received a call to respond to a structure fire on T. LeDoux Road off of Royer Loop in north Sulphur. Eight firefighters, along with Engine 5, Service 10, Engine 11 and 2 quick response units responded to the structure fire. We also received auto aid assistance from Houston River Fire Dept. The property owner was burning logs and the fire spread to a storage shed. The shed was a total loss. Forestry was also called to respond to the scene to plow fire lanes around the perimeter.
