On November 22, 2022, Volunteer firefighters from Ward Six Fire Protection District No One , DeQuincy Volunteer Fire Department , HOUSTON RIVER FIRE DEPARTMENT , and Beauregard Parish Fire District 2 spent the evening training their skills on live fire burns at the Calcasieu Emergency Response Training Center.

Even on this holiday week, volunteer firefighters focus on perfecting their skills through hands on training which will help them better protect their communities.
