2022 was the department's busiest year ever, with the department responding to a total of 580 emergency calls.

We still have free smoke alarms available through the Operation Save-A-Life program. Please call us at 337-786-2775 or email us at ward6fd@aol.com if you need smoke alarms. These smoke alarms are available for everyone in our district who may need them installed your home.
