On Sunday, March 12 at approximately 6:18pm, Ward 6 Fire responded to a reported structure fire on Cooley Rd at Wilkins Rd HOUSTON RIVER FIRE DEPARTMENT and DeQuincy Volunteer Fire Department were also dispatched as automatic aid. Upon arrival, an abandon Several other mobile hones in the vicinity were being threatened due to a grass/woods fire that started from the original fire.

Firefighters worked to protect those home and extinguish the fire. There were no injuries to firefighters on scene.
