At 10:27am, Ward 6 responded to a reported trash fire in the 700 blk Delores Poullard rd.
A small fire was observed burning in the front yard close to the woods and was unattended.
The fire was extinguished and a misdemeanor summons was issued by CPSO.

Since 8:00pm last night, this is the third call for someone burning in violation of the burn ban in the Ward 6 Fire Protection District.

In order to protect our community, the citizens, and property, there will continue to be zero tolerance for outside burning during the burn ban.
