Their is still a burn ban in the State of Louisiana.

The drought conditions still exist, most of the fire district has not received a recordable amount of rain in the last 7 days.

Ward 6 Fire participates in a survey every Tuesday with the Louisiana State Fire Marshal, Louisiana Deptartment of Agriculture & Forestry, and fire chiefs from throughout the state. The burn ban is still active and in effect until further notice.
