At 6:27 am, Ward 6 Fire responded to a 2 vehicle crash on Hwy 27 at High Hope Rd. HOUSTON RIVER FIRE DEPARTMENT was placed on standby to cover calls for Ward 6 District while we worked this incident. Upon arrival, one truck was on its side in the ditch and one truck with heavy damage was blocking the southbound lanes.
Both occupants had minor injuries and were transported to the hospital by Acadian Ambulance.

Ward 6 crews assisted State Police with traffic control until vehicles could be removed by the wrecker services.
