More than 70 volunteer firefighters attended and practiced suppression and extinguishment of propane gas fires.

Firefighters also practiced offensive fire attack for interior structure fires. Departments involved included Johnson Bayou FD, Hackberry VFD, Iowa VFD, DeQuincy Volunteer Fire Department, HOUSTON RIVER FIRE DEPARTMENT , Ward 5 Fire Protection District 1, Ward Six Fire Protection District No. One, Beauregard Parish Fire District 2.

Thank you to The Liberty Tree Street Kitchen for donating and preparing a meal fore the volunteers it was much appreciated by the firefighters, most of which came directly from their fulltime jobs to practice their skills in order to better protect their communities.
