One responded as automatic aid to assist HOUSTON RIVER FIRE DEPARTMENT with a structure fire on Angela Loop. HRFD Engine 1 arrived on scene to a room and contents fire with flames venting from a windows on the residential structure.

Firefighters conducted a quick offensive fire attack to extinguish the fire in the room of origin. Crews worked to conduct overhaul operations to ensure the fire had not extended into the attic space.

Occupants of the home were able to safely escape and there were no injuries to firefighting personnel. Sulphur Fire Dept. also responded as mutual aid.
