Firefighters from Ward Six Fire Protection District No. One completed the Emergency Medical Responder Certification after completing more than 40 hours of training .

The EMR certification provides each of the firefighters with knowledge to assist fellow firefighters and the citizens of our community should a medical emergency occur.

Those completing the certificate are FF Jeff Newby, Explorer Haiden Harrigill, FF Kirk Mullen , FF Sara Underwood, FF Sara Anne Milstead McDaniel, Lieutenant Desire'e Amrine, FF Riley Whittington.
