Monday, August 4, 2025 at 11:39 pm, Ward 6 Fire responded as automatic aid to Ward 5 Fire District on Hwy 109 just south of Starks for a structure fire. Engine 5 w/ 4 firefighters and Command Unit 901 responded to assist with extinguishment and overhaul. The abandoned structure was completely destroyed by fire with minor damage to a second mobile home. Ward 6 firefighters were released at approx. 1:25 am.

Prior to units arriving back at the station, at 1:53am, Engine 5 and Command Unit 901 responded to a single vehicle crash with injuries. One occupant was transported by Acadian Ambulance to the hospital with minor injuries. All units cleared the scene at approx. 2:40am and returned to station 2 for fuel.

At 2:57am, Engine 5 and Command Unit 901 were requested by Acadian to respond to a cardiac arrest call in the area of Stagecoach Lane. All units were released from the scene at about 3:45 am.

The dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly and with teamwork on all of the responses.
