At 9:02 am, Ward Six Fire Protection District No. One was dispatched as automatic aid to Ward 5 Fire District for a structure fire on Foster Brothers Rd.

On arrival of Ward 6 Command unit 901, heavy fire and smoke was observed. Firefighters conducted defensive suppression operations.
Ward 7 Fire also responded as automatic aid abd established water supply.

Command requested additional manpower and equipment from Sulphur Fire Dept. and Vinton Fire Department. HOUSTON RIVER FIRE DEPARTMENT provided a rehab unit and was on standby for other calls in the Ward 6 District.

The home was a total loss, the occupants were able to evacuate the structure prior to arrival of the fire department.
