Ward 6 Fire had a busy month responding to emergency calls. The dedication of the members to give their time to help the community is commendable.

Reminder: Fire safety during winter months is imperative.

Space heaters should be 3 feet from any combustible material and plugged directly into a wall outlet.
Heat lamps used for keeping pets warm must be secured away from combustible materials and in location where pets/animals cannot knock them over.
Do not overload extension cords.
