February Emergency Call Report.

Ward 6 firefighters responded to a total of 35 calls for service during the month of February. The majority of the calls were for grass/wildland fires, due to this reason, the fire chiefs of multiple departments requested the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury to enact a burn ban within the parish. The burn ban is in place until we receive enough rainfall to lessen the fire risk in our communities.

Vicinity Alarm = 1
False Alarm = 1
