Ward Six Fire provided automatic aid assistance to DeQuincy Fire Dept for a house fire on North Overton Street in DeQuincy. The departments were called at approximately 9:30AM this morning to respond to the fire. Upon arrival there were heavy flames and smoke showing. Assistance was received from Gordon, Meadow Village, Broadlands and Houston River Fire Departments. There were more than 30 Firefighters on scene for over 5 hours. There were no injures to the homeowners or any Firefighters on scene.
