On Tuesday, Sept 22, 2026 at 6:30pm, Ward 6 Firefighters joined firefighters from HOUSTON RIVER FIRE DEPARTMENT, DeQuincy Volunteer Fire Department, Beauregard Parish Fire District 2, Hackberry VFD, and Iowa Volunteer Fire Department to conduct training at the Calcasieu Emergency Response Training Center.
Firefighters participated in multiple training evolutions including: Search and rescue of smoke filled buildings, Advancement of lines and ladder training on multi level structures, and Extinguishment of vehicle fires.
Acadian Ambulance provided a meal for all of the volunteer firefighters that attended this training. |
