On Monday, November 21 2022 at 5:17am, Ward 6 Engine 19, Unit 901 and 904 with 6 firefighters responded to a 2 vehicle crash on La Hwy 27 @ Arthur Irwin Rd. Firefighters assisted with patient care, traffic control, and made each vehicle safe to reduce any further hazards. One occupant was transported to the hospital by Acadian Ambulance with minor injuries.

At 10:18am, Ward 6 Engine 17 and Service 6 with five firefighters responded to a mutual aid request from Ward 1 Fire Department in Moss Bluff for a residential structure fire on Hwy 171. Firefighters assisted with overhaul and ventilation of the structure. All Ward 6 units returned to Ward 6 district at approximately 12:00 noon.

At 6:26pm, Ward 6 was dispatched to a fire alarm at a residential structure on Grape Street. While enroute we were notified that the alarm was a false alarm and cancelled by the alarm company.

At 7:00pm, Ward 6 was dispatched to Bankens Rd for a residential fire alarm. While enroute the alarm company advised 911 to cancel the call due to a false alarm. The alarm was set off by homeowner cooking.
