At 7:07am Ward 6 Engine 7, Service 8, and unit 901 with 5 firefighters responded as automatic aid to Ward 5 Fire District for a Fire Alarm Upon arrival of unit 901, Engine 7 and Service 8 was canceled enroute.

8:00am, volunteer firefighters participated in vehicle extricate training. (Pics below)

10:13am, Fire Alarm, crews at training started responding but were canceled by the alarm company. Crews returned to finish extricate training.

All Ward 6 units completed training at about 11:45am.

12:42pm Ward 6 Engine 5, Units 901, 904 and Brush 20 with 7 firefighters responded to a mutual aid request from Beauregard Parish Fire District 1 for a grass/woods fire.

1:02pm Fire Alarm 1000 blk East 4th street, Engine 5 released from grass fire and Service 6 responded. Both units canceled prior to arriving on scene.

1:25pm Ward 6 units released from grass fire and returned to Ward 6 district.

2:08pm, Fire Alarm 4ths Street, all units canceled enroute due to false alarm.

6:08pm, Ward 6 Engine 7 and unit 901 with 4 firefighters responded to a mutual aid request from Beauregard Parish Fire District 2 for a structure fire. Ward 6 units were canceled prior to arriving on scene. All units returned to Ward 6 Fire District.
