Upon arrival, approx. Half an acre was burning. The fire was quickly extinguished before it could become uncontrollable with the windy conditions. We receive a couple of inches of rain yesterday; however, strong northerly winds have quickly dried the dead grasses. Be careful disposing of cigarettes or leaving a fire unattended.
At 4:56pm, Ward 6 responded to a vehicle crash on Route 66. Upon arrival the vehicle was in a drainage lateral, the driver was checked by Acadian Ambukance and refused treatment.
