Vehicle Crash on Hwy 12 east of DeQuincy On 6-9-2024 @ 10:23pm, Ward 6 Fire responded to a vehicle crash in the 1300 blk of Hwy 12 near Malone Rd Upon arrival, the crash involved 2 passenger vehicles and an 18 wheeler

June 10, 2024

Firefighters closed Hwy 12 and provided medical care. 1 occupant was transported to the hospital by a family member for medical observation. The driver of the 2nd car was transported by Acadian Ambulance to the hospital with minor injuries.

DeQuincy Police Department was requested to assist with traffic control. La. State Police is investigating the cause of the crash.
