Tuesday evening firefighters from Ward Six Fire Protection District No. One, DeQuincy Volunteer Fire Department , HOUSTON RIVER FIRE DEPARTMENT , Iowa Volunteer Fire Department , Beauregard Parish Fire District 2 , and Hackberry Volunteer Fire Department joined together to participate in live fire training drills.

Firefighters practiced using thermal imaging cameras for search and rescue operations, Transitional fire attack and offensive fire attack operations, and more than 20 firefighters began their first night of emergency medical training.

The joint training helps each department enhance their skills that they use to protect their communities.
