On Saturday, November 22, 2025 at approx 8:22 pm, Engine 7 and Command Unit 901 responded to a single vehicle crash on Edgerly Road at Route 66.

On arrival of Unit 901, a passenger vehicle was observed off the road near the trees. The vehicle was occupied by 3 people and there were no injuries. Firefighters assisted with traffic control and provided scene lighting so the vehicle could be removed by the wrecker service.

At approx 10:04 pm, Engine 5, Engine 7, and Command Unit 901 responded to a single vehicle crash on Hwy 27 at Miller Rd. Command unit 901 arrived on scene and observed a pickup truck had left the road and was stuck on the CPKC railroad tracks. The railroad was called and provided the crossing number so that all rail traffic could be stopped. The occupamt was assisted from the vehicle and was not injured.

Firefighters stood by for safety reasons until the wrecker service was able to clear the vehicle from the RR tracks. All units were back in service at 12:48am.
