On Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026 at 10:16 a.m., Ward Six Fire Protection District No. One was dispatched as automatic aid to Ward 5 Fire Department for a structure fire on Old River Rd at JE Miller Rd.
Command 901, Engine 19, and Service 6, with 6 firefighters responded.

On arrival of Ward 5 Fire, it was reported a travel trailer was fully involved with fire spreading toward nearby grass and brush. Ward 6 Firefighters assisted with extinguishment and supplied water for the incident. The trailer was a total loss and was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
