Two overnight crashes keep firefighters busy!

Friday, March 21, 2026 at about 9:12 pm, Ward 6 fire responded to a single vehicle crash in the 1000 blk of Cooper Rd.
On arrival the driver had self extricated from the vehicle and was not injured. The vehicle, a Chevrolet pickup appeared to have flipped multiple times and came to rest on its roof.

Early Saturday morning March 21, 2026 at 12:08am, Ward 6 was dispatched to a single vehicle crash on Hwy 12 at Rip Henagan rd.
Command unit 901 arrived at 12:11 am and observed a pickup truck off the roadway with a ree across the bed.

The driver was still in the truck and was able to communicate with firefighters. Firefighters used extrication tools to remove a damaged driver door to access the driver. Acadian Ambulance transported the driver to West Cal Cam Hospital for treatment.

All units cleared d the sceneand were back in service about 3:00am.
